I’m currently a Postdoc at UC Santa Barbara exploring ocean-based carbon dioxide removal (CDR) techniques under Dr. Morgan Raven.

I received my Ph.D. in Geoscience from UC Riverside in 2020 under Dr. Gordon Love on Phanerozoic microbial transitions during extinction/climate events. After that, I had a stint as a postdoctoral associate of the Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences Institute of Rutgers University, working under Dr. Kat Dawson on the biogeochemistry of tidal rivers.
